Currently, my work examines the junction between our tangible and intangible experiences of color—our physical experience of color—its particular hue, value, and saturation—and what our minds assume color should be or do.
My abstract compositions incorporate optical effects such as color juxtaposition, value or intensity changes, and form repetition. I also explore surface—sometimes employing dense matte effects or rich glosses and other times patiently building countless layers of transparent color to create jewel-like depth and complexity.
